The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
met in called session on the above date with the following present:-

Moved by Alderman Clifford that the following resolution
be adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.
RESOLUTION
Be it resolved that the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract to be drawn up between the City of Wichita Falls and the Wichita Falls
Building & Loan Association, wherein the City agrees to make two certain mech-
anic's lien notes each for executed by J. L. Price and payable to
G. E. Zimmerman & Co., and given for certain pavement, curb and gutters laid
in front of Lots Nos of Block on the Floral Heights
Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, and which notes were transferred to the
City by the said G. E. Zimmerman & Co., second lien notes and subordinate to
certain notes which the said Wichita Falls Building & Loan Association are tak-
ing up and the City further agrees to all(0.4tgaintitJand extensions of the notes
which the said Wichita Falls Building & Loan Association makes.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the settlement of fire loss on
the City Incinerator in the amount of $682.00 be approved and the difference of
$18.00 between the cost of replacement and insurance recovered be ordered paid.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.

Moved by alderman Clifford that the penalties for non payment
of tag for the years 1914,1915,1916,1917,1918, on Lots 12 and 13 Block D,Wyatt
Addition in the amount of $18.85 be remitted, du to the fact that T. a. Zimmer-
man, owner did not receive notice of a certain #udgment making this tax payable.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.

Moved by Alderman Stayton that the Mayor be authorized to
sign the proof of loss certificate covering the settlement of fire loss on the
City Incinerator.
Motion seconded by alderman Fitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman stayton that the City Attorney be instruct-
ed to file suit immediately for the collection of all delinquent taxes.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that Vic Stampflii be given permiss-
ion to pave the curb and raise the sidewalk in front of the Barker Brothers
Bakery located at 15th and Lamar Streets.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and parried.

Moved by Alderman Stayton that the contract for furnishing
all necessary window shades for the General Hospital be let to McConnell Bros
Furniture Co., for a con dderation of$ 463.50 the city to pay one half and the w}
County one half of this amount.
Moved by Alderman Clifford that the Bill of E. M. Mann in
the amount of 374.43 govering his commission for the collection of delinquent
taxes during the month of August 1922 be allowed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman Clifford that the Seventh Street swimming
pool be closed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.
