Moved by Alderman Sheperd that the application of the
Wichita Falls Traction Co. for a continuation of a six'(6) cent fare
for a period of two years be accepted and a public hearing be ordered
on October 9, 1922 for the purpose of hearing any complaints in con-
nection with a proposed Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 295 fixing
the rate of fare for the Wichita Falls '9raction Company.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.

ORDINANCE NO. 420
AN. ORDINANCE REGULATING AUTOMOTIVE TRAFFIC ON THE
STREETS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS-,TEXAS, PROVIDING A STANDARD
CODE OF SIGNALS THEREFOR AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
Was on motion of Alderman Stayton, seconded by
Alderman Sheperd placed on its first reading and passed by the
following vote:
Yeas: Sheperd, Stayton, Fitts, Clifford, Reed
Nayes: None

Moved by Alderman Clifford that Dosch Electric Co.
be allowed a warrant for 4150.00 on contract for General Hospital
Electrical Fixtures.
Motion seconded by Alderman Pitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the West Tegas Con-
struction Co. be allowed to proceed with the paving of E7pventh
street from Austin to Grace streets and on Burnett fromEleventh to
13th street.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitts and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that F. V. Lawton, Manager,
and S. L. Williams, Superintendent of Waterworks be allowed to at-
tend the Southwestern Waterworks association convention at Hot Springs,
Arkansas with traveling expenses paid by the City.
Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.

a 3 weeks vacation.

Moved by Alderman Clifford that the City accept the
proposal of certain attorneys to conduct the corporation court for
the ensueing six months without charge and that J.�. P. Akin be app-
ointed Recorder of the Corporation Court and .4 Francis be app-
ointed Special Prosecutor for the Corporation Court' effective October
1, 1922.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that Alderman Fitts be author-
ized and d'rected to recover the Cities Motorcycles being used by M. D.
Eyerley , h. B. Kinser and N. Dbves if same are not paid for immediately.

City Clerk's office be allowed a two weeks vacation.

After carefully examining an application for the erection
of a Brick Building to be used as Plumbing Shop located on Lot E, of the
Sheyers sub-division of Block 12 Bellevue addition filed by J. H. Castle-
dine, the following motion was put in order:
Moved by Alderman Fitts that a permit be granted in accor-
dance with Ordinance lie. 419 with the usual provisions:

tion of a Cafeteria An the Cunningham Building located at 1919 Tenth street
be accepted and the City Clerk be instructed to notify all property owners
interested that a public hearing on this application be held on October
