Mann, City Attorney ifirilefifillitt######ii#M#144 Moved by Alderman Clifford that the petition for the erection of a brick and tile filling station to be located on Lot I, Block 36 original tewnsite, being the South west corner of Arkansas and Jefferson streets, and a public hearing be ordered on October 16, 1922 for the purpose of hearing all complaints in connection therewith. Was on motion of Alderman Shepherd seconded by Alderman gtayton placed on its second reading and passed by the following vote: Yeas: Shepherd, Stayton, Fitts, Clifford, Reed. Nayes: None Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the resignation of Geo. W. Thorburn as City Clerk be accepted and the Mayor be requested to write Mr. Thorburn a letter expressing the appreciation of the council for the faithful services performed him. Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford and carried. #######r# ############W#'# • Moved by Alderman Clifford that Dosch Electric Co. be allowed a warrant for 150.00, provided that the remaining balance of contract be enough to cover delinquent taxes due the city. Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried. ################174################# Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the onntraetan making repairs on the Kress Building be allowed to use a part of the alley for temporary storage of material.
