The Board of Aldermen of the City of dichita Falls, met in
regular session on the above date with the following present:-

E. M. Mann, City Attorney.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the application of the Dixie
Tire service for curb gasoline filling stations to be located on Eighth and
Travis Streets be referred to Commissioner Clifford for investigation and
recommendation.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the claim of Staniforth,
Mytinger, and Walker for reimbursement for paving of East one-fourth of in-
tersection of Collins and Brook Street be allowed and the City Clerk be in-
structed to draw a warrant for y$505.61 to cover said claim after the annual
appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending March 31,1924 has been
finally passed and approved. It being understood that the payment of this
amount will be considered a full settlement of all claims against the City
of Wichita Falls, fer reimbursement for paving of the Collins and Brook
Street intersection made in pursuance of a verbal contract by and between
J. B. Marlow, former Mayor of the City of Wichita Falls, and Staniforth,
Mytinger and Calker a partnership of Wichita Falls, Texas. It is further
agreed that when the West end of Collins Street is paved the City Engineer
will be instructed to include in the assessment against property owners on
the ,.est end of Collins Street an amount of $505.61 to be collected by the
paving contractor, paid to the City by said contractor and transmitted to
said Staniforth, Eytinger and Walker by the City.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.
