Min 12/04/1922 e Wichita Falls, Texas Morgan Building December 4th 1922. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met in regular session on the above date with the following present:- Frank Collier, Mayor R. E. Shepherd 0 Burton Stayton J. F. Heed 0 Aldermen N. A. Thomason in the amount of 5.25 be allowed. Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford and carried. #############W#1 Moved by Alderman Pitts that the bill of J. L. Moore for travelling expenses in the amount of 423.85 be allowed. RESOLUTI O N STATE 01 TFXAS 6 . COUNTY OF WTCHITA f KNOW ALL PEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT “EERREAS, L. E. Stone and wife Mrs. Lenore Stone, on the 13th day of October, 1920, executed and delivered their Mechanic's lien contract unto G. E. Zimmerman and Company, a copartnership composed of G. E. Zimmerman and Calvin C. Jones, granting and giving the said Zimmerman.and Company a Mechanic's Lien on Lots 5 and 6 of Block 86 of the Floral Heights Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, in order to better secure the said Zimmerman • and Company in the payment of three certain promissory notes, each in the amount ' sum of :j248.96. due in 6, 12 and 24 months after date, all of which notes were given for certain street improvements laid and constructed in front of said property and, WHEREAS, said notes were all transferred and assigned by the said Zimmerman and Company unto the City of Wichita Fails, and, WHEREAS, said notes have all been paid off and discharged. N0'dr THEREFORE the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, a municipal cor- poration, acting herein by and through its Mayor, Prank Collier, who is duly authorized to execute this release by a resolution passed by the Board of Ald- ermen on the 4th day of December, 1922, in the consideration of the premises and the full and final payment of said notes, do hereby release, remise and forever quit-claim all of the right, title and interest which the said city has or may be entitled to in and to the above described property by reason of said notes and the Mechanic's Lien securing the same unto the said L. E. Stone, his heirs and assigns forever. Mann, City Attorney, of said City, be and he is hereby auth- orized, directed and instructed to proceed from and after this date to file suits against any and all delinquent tax payers, who are delinquent in the payment of real and personal taxes due to the City of Wichita Falls, for the collection of said taxes. • Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried by the following vote:- Yeas: Shepherd, Clifford, Reed, Stayton, Fitts.
