The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met in rbg-
ular session on the above date with the following present.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and a-Droved.
Moved by Alderman Fitts that the Fichita Falls Battery Company
be authorized to erect a brick building at 912, Eighth Street and that the
sidewalk in front of said building be allowed to slope from the curb to prop-
erty line, provided that such sidewalk construction be done under the super-
vision of the City Engineer.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that the Tax Collector be authorized to
reduce the valuation on Lots 8 and 9, ...lock 175, awned by T. T. T. Reese dur-
ing the year 1922J from 00,000.00 to .a:70,000.00 due to clerical error of the
Board of Equalization.
Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the tax penalties, interest and
costs amounting to .w•5.97 on Lot 2, Block 108 of the original townsite owned
by Mrs. Collie Thorn a widow whose taxes for the yeare 1917,1918,1919 were
recently paid by the Salvation Army, be remitted.'
Motion seconded by Alderman Clifford and carried.

The bill for 92¢ presented by Lloyd = eaver, covering gasoline
furnished a policeman in December 1921 was disallowed.

Moved by Alderman Fitts that Ordinance Dumber 422, be placed on
its(ieeona)reading, which motion was seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried,
by the following vote:- Yeas:- ALDRRT:AN Shepherd,Fitts, Reed, Clifford,Stayton.
Naves:- Done.
