The Board of aldermen of the City of Wichita malls, met in regular
adjourned session at 7 P. M. on the above date with the following present:-

Moved by Alderman Clifford that Ordinance No.422 entitled, an
Ordinance regulating public dances, suppressing public dances and public dance
halls, requiring licenses for the holding of certain dances and providing a
penalty, be withdrawn and Ordinance No.427 be substituted.
Motion seconded by alderman Stayton and carried by the following
vote:-
Yeas: Shepherd, Stayton, Fitts, Clifford, Keed.
Nayes: None.

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PUBLIC DANCES AND DA10E HALLS REQUIRING
LICENSES FOR THE HOLDING OP CERTAIN DANCES AND PROVIDING a PENALTY.
Moved by ALDERMAN Fitts that Ordinance 427, be placed on its first
reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried by the following
vote
Yeas: Shepherd, Stayton, Fitts, Clifford, Need.
Nayes: None.

to make the following extensions.
Water Line Extensions.

350 feet of 6 inch pipe 450.00

Moved by alderman Shepherd that the water department be authorized
to proceed with the collection of delinquent sewer rents and to disconnect the
sewer mains where said rents cannot be collected.
Motion seconded by Alderman need, and carried.

Moved by alderman Stayton that the cash funds of the Water Depart-
ment be transferred to the City Treasurer and that a Water Department R9anagers
imprest fund in the amount of 02,000.00 be created by the issuance of a warrant
payable to F. r. Lawton, Manager. said fund to be replenished by the issuance
of warrants by the City Clerk upon presentation of properly receipted bills by
Mr. Lawton.
