The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met in regular
session on the above date with the following present:-
Frank Collier, Mayor
B. A. Stayton 1
N. M. Clifford 1 ldermen
J. V. heed
J. B. Fitts 1
W. m. McBroom, City Clerk
L. M. Mann, City Attorney
The minutes of the meetings under date of January 29th and Jan-
uary 31st 1923, were read and approved.

Moved by Alderman Stayton that the petition for the erection of
a frame building on the reallof Lot 1, Block 14, Jalonick Addition to be used
for the operation of grocer;.7 and drug store be received And a public hearing
be ordered held on Feb. 19th 1923, in accordance with the provisions of Ordin-
ance 340.
Motion seconded by Alderman ulifford and carried.

ORDINANCE TO CLOSE, VACATE .ND ABANDON THE ALLEY RUNNING THROUGH
BLOCK a0. THREE (3) OF THE WEST SIDE ADDITION TO TEE FLORAL HEIGHTS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS, ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT
SAID AUFTY RUNNING PARALLEL WITH GARFIELD STREET:
Moved by Alderman Fitts that Ordinance 428 be placed on its third
and final reading and be adopted as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried by the following
vote:-
Yeas: Stayton, Clifford, Reed, Fitts
Nayes: None.

The hearing relative to the Wichita Falls Traction co., franchise
for a right of way to the Junior College was called and their being no objections
Ordinance 50.429 granting said right of way was referred to the City Attorney for
examination.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
