The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
met in called session at 4 P. M. on the above date with the following present:-
Frank Collier, Mayor
R. E. Shepherd
J. H. Batton ( Aldermen
J. T. Yohng I
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk

Moved by Alderman Patton that the matter of reducing the
taxes on W. D. Collins property be passed and not considered further, and
that the taxes assessed thereon be paid as charged on the City Tax Collector's
roll.
Motion seconded by Alderman Young, and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the resignation of R. L.
Yates as Recorder of the Corporation Court be accepted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried.

Moved by Alderman Patton that W. E. George be appointed
Recorder of the Corporation Court to fill out the unexpired term of R. L.
Yates, resigned, effective on the 24th day of April 1923. tl'
Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.

Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the City Clerk be instructed
to advertise for bids for the construction of three cells in the City Hall
jail, rearrangement of office space in City Hall, and for the painting of the
interior of the City Hall.
Motion seconded by Alderman Young and carried.
