Res 142-2022 Annual 3_4 through 3 Inch Water Meters Purchase 11/01/2022 Resolution No. 142-2022 Resolution authorizing the purchase of replacement 3/4 inch through three inch water meters and associated parts for the Distribution Division, from Thirkettle Corporation dba Aqua-metric Sales Company, in the amount of $122,747.00 WHEREAS, one of the City of Wichita Falls' Strategic Goals is to Provide Adequate Infrastructure; and WHEREAS, the City desires to continue to have a reliable inventory of water meters and associated parts; and WHEREAS, the City desires to accurately account for water usage towards billing and regulatory reporting; and WHEREAS, it is on the best interest of the City of Wichita Falls, to remain compatible with the City's AMI system, to sole source the purchase of water meters and parts from Aqua-metric Sales Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: City staff is authorized to purchase replacement 3/4 inch through 3 inch water meters and associated parts for the Distribution Division, from Thirkettle Corporation dba Aqua-metric Sales Company, in the amount of $122,747.00.
