Resolution authorizing the award of a sole-source rehabilitation of the
Microfiltration/Reverse Osmosis Break Tank at Cypress Water
Treatment Facility from Texas Aquastore Inc., in the amount of
$57,938.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls developed the supply of raw water from Lake
Kemp after the 1995 — 2000 drought, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been utilizing the supply of raw water
from Lake Kemp since 2008 as an integral part of the City's water resource management
portfolio, and
WHEREAS, the MF/RO Break Tank is in need of rehabilitation to continue to the
operation of the MF/RO plant to treat Lake Kemp water; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received a quote from Texas Aquastore
Inc. for the sole source services, labor and materials to rehabilitate the Break Tank.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to award the services,
labor and materials to rehabilitate Microfiltration/Reverse Osmosis Break Tank at Cypress
Water Treatment Facility in the amount of$57,938.00 to Texas Aquastore Inc.
