Ord 51-2022 Austin Addition easement closure 10/18/2022 Ordinance No. 51-2022 Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to approve a request from Fred Roach to vacate and abandon a portion of a utility easement consisting of approximately 954.7 square feet located on Lot 1-A, Block 1, Austin Addition across 1402 Iowa Park Road WHEREAS, Fred Roach of 1402 Iowa Park Road has requested the closure, abandonment, and vacation of a portion of the utility easement consisting of approximately 954.7 square feet located on the property at Lot 1-A, Block 1, Austin Addition; and WHEREAS, all affected utility companies and City departments have reviewed this request and have recommended approval to close, abandon, and vacate a portion of said utility easement; and WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best public interest to close, abandon, and vacate a portion of said utility easement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The City Council has determined that the partial closure request by Fred Roach in the amount of $1,430.00 of approximately 954.7 square feet of utility easement located on the property with the legal description Lot 1-A, Block 1 , Austin Addition as described and depicted in the following attached Exhibit A and Property Location Map is in the best interest of the public.
