Resolution appropriating a total of$173,800 of American Rescue Plan
(ARPA) Funding for renovation of 2 restrooms located at the Health
District
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received funding from the American
Rescue Plan; and
WHEREAS, City Council passed a non-binding resolution on June 14, 2022; and
WHEREAS, funding of$173,800 was allocated for the renovation of two restrooms
at the health District; and
WHEREAS, the guidance from the American Rescue Plan Act allows for the
appropriation of these funds, for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to appropriate a total of $173,800, of
American Rescue Plan funding through the grant performance period, ending December
31 , 2026, for the renovations of two restroom facilities at the Health District.
