Res 089-2022 PY 2019 Annual Action Plan Amendment 08/02/2022 Resolution No. 89-2022 Resolution approving a substantial amendment to the PY 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan of the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan to reallocate $600,304.95 of CDBG — Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) in a special allocation from US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls acting in its capacity as a HUD Grantee administers federally-funded programs to the benefit of the community; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has held a Public Hearing on July 19, 2022 to receive citizen input and the Council Subcommittee on Outside Agencies, City Manager, and staff have recommended this change to the PY 2019 Annual Action Plan; and, WHEREAS, during the Public Hearing, the City Council reviewed the recommended substantial amendment, proposed application and use of funds, concurred that this application for funding is in the interest of the community, approved the project in the PY 2019 Annual Action Plan, and determined that no matching funds are expected to be required by the City of Wichita Falls. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The City Council approves a substantial amendment to the PY 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan of the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan to reallocate $600,304.95 of CDBG — Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) funding through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) in a special allocation from US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
