A tract of land out of the E. SCURRY SURVEY, Abst. No. 481 and the DONATA
LEONA SURVEY Abst. No. 176, Wichita County, Texas and described by metes And
bounds as fo{lows:
BEGINNING at a point on the North line of the E. SCURRY SURVEY S 89"511W 435.1
feet from its Northeast corner, said point being at the intersection of the West
line of a 20.0 foot Right-of-way conveyed to the Citv of Wichita Falls by deed dated
June 27, 1928 and recorded in Vol. 294, Page 207, Deed Records and the North line of
an 80.0 foot Right-of-way Easement conveyed to Wichita County by deed dated Agav 8,
1943 and recorded in Vol. 392, Page 211, Deed Records; said point being, also S .73°00,1W
70.0 feet at right angles from the center line of the Y. K. & T. Railroad, for the
Northeast corner of this tract;
THENCE S 89°511W with the North line of the E. SCURRY SURVEY and the North line uf
said 80.0 foot Right-of-wav Easement 302.6 feet to a point for the Northwest, corner
of this tract;
THENCE S 00°091E, at 80.0 feet pass a 112 inch iron rod set in the South line or
said 80.0 foot Right-of-wav Easement, at 398.4 feet cross the South line of the E.
SCURRY SURVEY and the North line of the D. LEONA SURV:Y, in all, 010.1 feet to a
1/2 inch iron rod set in fence line on the South line of the J. S. Ownbv tract for
the Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N 89.481E with fence on the South line of said Ownhy tract, at 181,5 feet pass
the Northwest corner of a tract owned by Panhandle Steel Products Co., in all, 181.5
feet to a one inch pipe at fence corner for the Southeast corner of this tract and
an Ell corner of the Panhandle Steel Products Co. tract;
THENCE N 01°381W with fence on the '.vest line of said Panhandle Steel Products Co,
tract, at 511.6 feet cross the North line of the D. LEONA SURVEY and the Louth line
of the E SCURRY SURVEY, in all, 709.9 feet to a point in the West line of the above
described 20°0 foot Right-of-way;
THENCE N 17'001W with the West line of said 20.0 foot Right-of-wav anri 70.0 feet at
right angles from and parallel with the center line of the M. K. & T. Railroad, at
125.4 feet cross the South line of the above described 80.0 foot Right-or-wav Easement,
in all, 209.0 feet to the place of beginning and containing 7,596 acres of land which
includes 0,579 acres in the 80.0 foot wide Right-of-way Easement across the North side
of this tract. Included in the 7.596 acre tract is 3.192 acres out oP the T. SCURRY
SURVEY and 4.404 acres out of the D. LEONA SURVEY,

Witness that The Gates Rubber Company, a Colorado corporation, is the owner of a 7.596
acre tract as described In a Deed from Jesse C. Ownby et al to The. -Gates Rubber Company
dated April i, 1964, recorded in Volume 918, Page 175 of the Deed Records of Wichita
County, Texas, being the same tract as described in the field notes above.
Now, therefore, know all men by these presents, that The Gates Rubber Company does
hereby adopt this PLAT, designating the above described 7.596 acre tract as THE GATES
RUBBER COMPANY ADDITION to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and does hereby dedicate
to the public use forever the streets, alleys and/or easements shown thereon.
