WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls and Midwestern State University are the owners of a tract of land out
of Block 1, Cherokee County School Land and J. A. Scott Survey No. 8, Wichita County, Texas, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Singleton Addition, Section 3, Wichita Falls, as recorded in Vol. 7, Page 93,
Wichita County Plat Records, said point also being in the North line of Block 1, Cherokee County School Land and
thv South line of the J. A. Scott Survey No. 8;
THENCE S 89° 55' E along the South line of. Singleton Addition 808.0 feet to an iron rod for the Northeast corner;
THENCE S 00 05' W, 625.21 feet to an iron rod for the Southeast corner;
THENCE N 89' 55' W, 958.0 feet to an iron rod for the Southwest corner;
THENCE N OOA 05' E, at 625.21 feet crossing the North line of Block 1, Cherokee County School Land and the South
line of the J. A. Scott Survey No. 8, and continuing, in all, 1043.44 feet to an iron rod in the South Right -of -Way
of Southwest Parkway;
THENCE S Be 50' E along said Right -of -Way 151.9 feet to an iron rod in the West line of an alley;
THENCE S OOA 05' W along said alley line 394.2 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 15.149 acres of land.
THEREFORE, the owner of the land shown on this plat and whose name is subscribed thereto and in person
or through a duly authorized agent, hereby dedicates to she use of the public forever all streets, alleys, parks,
water courses, drains, easements and public places thereon shown for the purposes and considerations therein
expressed.
