WHEREAS Maskat Temple is the owner of a 23.917 acre tract of land out of Block 43, Kemp & Newby
Subdivision of Cherokee County School Land, Wichita Falls, Texas, described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod N 000 50' 52" E 3388.03 feet and N 860 59' 20" W 79.3 feet from the
Southeast corner of Block 43, Kemp & Newby Subdivision of Cherokee County School Land, said rod
being in the South Line of Southwest Parkway and being also the Most Northerly Northwest corner of
a 4 876 acre tract owned by Texas Electric Service Company;
THENCE S 000 58' 00" W along the West line of said 4.876 acre tract 1256.97 feet to an iron rod at
an ell corner of said tract and the Southeast corner if this tract;
THENCE S 700 07' 30" W along the most Southerly North line of said 4.876 acre tract 1292-95 feet to
an iron rod in the East line of Henry S. Grace Freeway (U. S. Highway No. 281) for the most Westerly
Northwest comer of said 4.876 acre tract and the Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N 210 21' 30" E along said East right-of-way line 632.59 feet to a bronze monument at the
beginning of a curve to the right with a radius of 2852.30 feet and the bearing of the tangent to the
curve of N 21' 21' 30" E,
THENCE in a Northeasterly direction along said East right-of-way line following the arc of said curve
with a central angle of 060 42' 22" for a distance of 333.85 feet to a bronze monument at the end of
said curve and the beginning of another curve to the right whose radius is 1133.20 feet and the bearing
of the tangent of the curve at this point is N 280 03' 52" E;
THENCE in a Northeasterly direction along said East right-of-way line following arc of said curve with
a central angle of 300 23' 38" for a distance of 601.13 feet to a bronze monument at the end of said
curve, the bearing of the tangent if the curve at this point being N 580 27' 30" E;
THENCE N 580 27' 30" E along said East right-of-way line 200.19 feet to a bronze monument at an
angle in said line;
THENCE,N 430 28' 50" E along said East right-of-way line 370.14 feet to a bronze monument in the
South line of Southwest Parkway;
THENCE S 860 59' 20" E along said South right-of-way line 34.85 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING
and containing 23.917 acres of land.
