August 4, 1952
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called
session on the above date, in theCouncil Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building,
at 4:00 otclock P.M., with the following members present:

Bill N. Taylor City Manager
Mayor Kindel Faulk stated the purpose of this meeting to be the considera-
tion of matters of importance to the City.

Moved by Alderman Cox that Mrs T. J. Waggoner, Jr. be appointed to serve
on the Park Board to fill the unexpired term of H. B. Dudley, whose term expires
January 1, 1953. ,
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried.
A petition signed by representatives of the Garbage, Park, Street, Sewer
/ and Water Departments, requesting an increase in salaries and wages, was presented
to the Council by City Manager Bill N. Taylor.
The petition was received favorably by the Council, but deferred for further
study in connection with the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1952.
Moved by Alderman Mason that the Board of Aldermen grant permission to
°r'osriers of the Nacol Bldg. to remove the sidewalk, instail transformer vault under
the sidewalk and replace the said sidewalk, all under the supervision of the City
Engineer.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried.
Moved by Alderman Mason that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Willis and carried.
The Board of Aldermen thin adjourned.
