Min 05/15/1952 159 • Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Building May 15, 1952 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called session on the above date in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., with the following members present: Kindel Faulk Mayor R. P. Willis Lloyd C. Thomas Dr. E. Aubrey Cox 1 Aldermen J. Paul Montgomery Henry D. Mason Geo. T. Henderson City Clerk Bill N. Taylor City Manager J. Walter Friberg City Attorney onsidei Mayor Kindel Faulk stated the purpose of this meetingt toc begadvsability orintroducing Ordinance No. 1615. ORDINANCE NO.1615 AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, rBY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANES ADJACENT TO THE PRESENT TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THE SAME LYING IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION FROM THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ALL OF WHICH LANES ARE MORE FULLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE. Mayor Kindel Faulk then introduced Ordinance No. 1615, whereupon the following motion was had: Moved by Alderman Montgomery that a Public Hearing be held on Ordinance No.-1615 at the next regular Council Meeting May 26, 1952. Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Willis, Thomas, Cox, Montgomery and Mason. Nays: None. 4 Moved by Alderman Mason that the Board of Aldermen approve and direct 4 that the tax valuation for the year 1951, covering Lot 4, Block 1.64, Original, 'roe reduced from $56,000.00 to $53,080.00, by reason of an error by the Tax Department in the assessed valuation. Motion seconded by Alderman Montgomery and carried. Moved by Alderman Thomas that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Mason and carried. The Board of Aldermen:en adjourned.
