RESOLUTION NO. -A -qi
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF THE PROPOSED
USE OF FUNDS IN A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED CONSOLIDATED
PLAN, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the bids for the proposed Housing Authority to Williams Park sidewalk
project have been much lower than excepted, the staff has requested that the City Council
approve amending the Consolidated Plan to extend the proposed sidewalk project
southward to include a connection from Humphries Street to Eastside Drive (FM240).
WHEREAS, the staff has requested the City Council to consider this change during
a Public Hearing and there will be no increase in the total amount of funds available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the amendment of the
Consolidated Plan to HUD showing the revised proposed use of funds under the
Community Development Block Grant and HOME programs.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute any and all contracts and
agreements needed to implement the approved activities within the project funding levels.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at Vvhic '
this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
