RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE CITIZEN'S
PARTICIPATION PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE
CONSOLIDATED PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, it is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban •
Development that all grantees must develop a written Citizen's Participation Plan
that encourages participation of the public in the creation of the Consolidated Plan
which is a five year plan for the use of federal funds; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, acting as an Entitlement City in the
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and as a Participating
Jurisdiction under the Home Partnership Investment Act (HOME), must approve
and adopt a Citizen's Participation Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council approves and adopts the attached •
Citizen's Participation Plan.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the
meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by
law.
