Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Professional
Services Agreement with Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for engineering
services for the 9th Street Elevated Water Storage Tank Replacement
in the amount of $525,000.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is the sole potable water provider to its retail
and wholesale customer; and
WHEREAS, the 9th Street Elevated Storage Tank has reached the end of its useful
life and must be replaced; and
WHEREAS, it is found that Biggs & Mathews, Inc. is capable of performing the
engineering services to complete the design of the replacement elevated storage tank for
the total amount of$525,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to award the professional services agreement for
the design of the 9th Street Elevated Water Storage Tank Replacement for the City of
Wichita Falls to Biggs & Mathews Inc., in a total amount of$525,000.00.
