RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING A BID TO DELL INCORPORATED FOR
VARIOUS REPLACEMENT COMPUTER SERVERS AND TAPE
BACKUP UNITS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the 2003-04 budget included $66,775 to replace various computer
network servers and tape backup units; and
WHEREAS, bids were taken from various Qualified Information Services
Vendors for the purchase of this equipment; and
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Dell Incorporated was the best and most
responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Award of bid be granted to Dell Incorporated in the amount of
$53,350.03 for the replacement of five computer network servers and tape backup
units.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
