Librarian's report
Those Library Advisory Board members who were present attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the
Texas Room and enjoyed a brief speech by Mayor Stephen Santellana, as well as a short tour.
Minutes were approved from September of 2020.
Ms. Adams called the meeting to order at 4:46 p.m. Ms. Love made a motion that the minutes from
September of 2020 be approved. Motion was seconded by Mr. Sernoe.
Ms. Hausburg introduced Angela Hill, assistant administrator, information, who said the library is now
operating at pre-pandemic levels. The only thing that is not back in full force for summer is
programming. Most programs are still online with the exception of story time. We have had 2 story
times with over 100 attendees.
Ms. Hill next talked about upcoming programs for fall and winter:Touch a Truck will take place on
Saturday, October 2, from 12-4 p.m., and our Holiday Open House will be Saturday, December 11 from
2-4 p.m. She encouraged board members to volunteer for one or both events.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned at 4:58 p.m.
Next meeting is set for Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m.
