Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Professional
Services Agreement to Biggs and Mathews Environmental, Inc. for
engineering services for the City of Wichita Falls Landfill Entrance
Facility Improvements in the amount of $83,250.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls Landfill has increased traffic over the scale
by 8,000 vehicles and 7,000 tons in the last year causing customer delays; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has determined that Biggs and Mathews
Environmental, Inc. is qualified to provide design, permitting and construction
management services for the City of Wichita Falls Landfill entrance facility improvements;
and
WHEREAS, it is found that the Engineering Services to complete the design,
permitting and construction management for the City of Wichita Falls Landfill is in a total
amount of$83,250.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The engineering services for the City of Wichita Falls Landfill Entrance Facility
Improvements is awarded to Biggs and Mathews Environmental, Inc., in a total amount
of $83,250.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form
approved by the City Attorney, for the City with said Contractor for the design of such
project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of October, 2021.
