FIELD NOTES
A tract of land being more commonly known as Lots 8-12, and a portion of a 25-foot alley
Original Townsite, an addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, said
more specifically described by metes and bounds as to laws:
Beginning at a building corner, said building corner being the point of Intersection of the
northerly right -of -way line of Eighth Street and the easterly right -of -way IIne of Travis Street, said
building corner be Ing the Southwest corner of said Lot 8, Block 166, and also being the Southwest
corner and place of beginning of this description;
Thence along said easterly right-of-way line of Travis Street, and along the westerly line of said
Lois 8-12, Block 166, North 34° 00' West 249.69 feet to a 1/2" iron rod, said 1/2" iron rod being the
Northwest corner of said Lot 12, Block 166, said 1/211 iron rod being the Northwest corner of this
tract;
Thence leaving said easterly right-of-way line of Travis Street, and along the northerly line of
said Lot 12, North 55° 50' East 150.99 feet to a 1/2" iron rod lying in the westerly line of a 25-foot
alley, Said 1/2" iron rod being the Northeast corner of said Lot 12;
Thence along said westerly line of a 25-foot alley, South 34° 08' East 41.99 feet to a 1/2" iron
rod for corner;
Thence leaving said westerly line of a 25-foot alley, North 55° 50' East 25.00 feet to a 1/2" iron
rod lying in the easterly line of said 25-foot alley, for the Northeast corner of this tract;
Thence along said easterly line of a 25-foot al lc:y, and along the westerly line of Lots 3-7, of
said Block 166, South 34° 08' East 208.00 feet to 2 building corner lying in the above mentioned
northerly right-of-way line of Eighth Street, said building corner being the Southwest of said Lot 7,
Block 166, and the Southeast corner of this tract;
Thence along said northerly right-of-way line of I-Ighth Street, South 55' 55' West 176.60 feet to
the place of beginning and containing 0.99 acre, more or less.
