Ordinance appropriating $1,400,000 of ARPA funding to complete
replacement of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
Control System for the water treatment system
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls received $14,545,825 in American Rescue
Plan Act (ARPA) Grant Funds; and,
WHEREAS, the replacement of the SCADA system is essential for the operation
of the water system; and,
WHEREAS, the project fits within the guidance for use of ARPA funding,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to appropriate $1 ,400,000 from the American
Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grant Funds for the SCADA replacement project.
