Ordinance accepting $14,545,825 in American Rescue Plan Act
(ARPA) Federal Grant Funds for COVID response and authorizing the
City Manager to execute all necessary funding agreements related
hereto
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls received $14,545,825 in American Rescue
Plan Act (ARPA) Grant Funds; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to acknowledge receipt of these funds for future
allocation, for the purposes allowable by the guidance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to accept American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
Grant Funds from the United States Treasury thereto in a form approved by the City
Attorney.
