Ordinance Waiving Section 94- 319(a) Of The Code Of Ordinances of
the City of Wichita Falls, And Changing The Block Range Of Lee
Street Between 2nd Street And 3rd Street From The 200 Block Range
To The 100 Block Range
WHEREAS, Section 94 -319 (a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita
Falls requires the addressing numbering scheme to be relative to the positioning of
each street as follows:
Sec. 94- 319... (a) For the purpose of numbering and more particularly locating
all buildings and parcels in the city, all streets in the city shall be considered as
even hundreds in the numbering scheme according to the relative position of
each street or venue, and the parcel and building numbers in the blocks next to
such streets and avenues shall be the units and tens of the complete number.
WHEREAS, waiving Section 94 -319 (a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Wichita Falls and extending the 100 block of Lee Street will provide flexibility for future
growth of the Community Healthcare Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Section 94- 319(a), of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls is
hereby waived, allowing the 200 block of Lee Street to be changed to the 100 block of
Lee Street and thus allowing the extension of the 100 block of Lee Street.
2. The portion of Lee Street between 2nd Street and 3rd Street is hereby changed
from the 200 block of Lee Street to the 100 block of Lee Street.
