Min 03/03/1952 134 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium Bldg. March 3, 1952 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called session on the above date, at 7-30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building, with the following members presents Harold Jones Mayor H. P. Willis Lloyd C. Thomas Francis L. Harvey Aldermen J.R. Rey J. Paul Montgomery R. J. Brown Geo. T. Henderson City Clerk Bill N. Taylor City Manager J. Walter Friberg City Attorney Mayor Jones announced the purpose of this meeting to be consideration of Resolution No. 191 to determine if Rent Control should remaih in effect or be decontrolled. Due to the fact that there was insufficient seating capacity in the Council Room, to accomodate the large crowd assembled, the meeting place was moved to the Main Auditorium. Public Hearing of Resolution No. 191 was held, at which time both proponents and opponents were heard. e � e ent re. is Nelson, representing property owners; H. p�e� ar�� a. Yeager, Dallas representative of Rent�Stablisation; Col. Schgtler, representing the Family Housing Group, U.S. Air Force Headquarters, Washington, D.C.; also Mr. Young, LS 0 Director. After four hours of lengthy discussions by various representatives and others present, the following motion was had: Moved by Alderman Montgomery that the meeting be adjourned.
