Res 037-2021 Annual Concrete & Flowable Fill Bid Award 4/6/2021 Resolution No. 37-2021
Resolution authorizing the award of bid for the City's estimated annual
requirement of Class S ready mix and Flowable Fill to Falls Concrete,
LLC in the amount of $330,400.00; and Class A, Curb & Gutter and
Class C-C ready mix to OK Concrete Company in the amount of
$129,700.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the City's
estimated annual requirement of ready mix concrete and flowable fill; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 26, 2021; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase ready mix concrete and flowable
fill for use by various city departments during the next twelve-month period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the city's estimated annual
requirement of Class S ready mix and Flowable Fill to Falls Concrete, LLC in the amount
of $330,400.00; and Class A, Curb & Gutter and Class C-C ready mix to OK Concrete
Company in the amount of$129,700.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of April, 2021.
