Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Grant Program in the amount
of $ 413,228 received from the Department of State Health Services
and authorizing the City Manager to execute contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Department of State Health Services has identified additional
funding for our local WIC agency; and,
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2020 —2021 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $413,228 for the
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program.
