Res 031-2021 Purchase John Deere Flail Mower Buyboard 3/16/2021
Resolution No. 31-2021 Resolution authorizing the purchase of one (1) John Deere Flail Mower through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from Quality Implement Co. and Tiger Corporation in the amount of$137,567.67 WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's competitive bidding requirements; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Quality Implement Co. is offering one (1) John Deere 6105E Cab Tractor and Tiger Corporation is offering (1) Triple Flail System through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative, and it is in the best interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing Programs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase one (1) John Deere Flail Mower through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from Quality Implement Co. and Tiger Corporation in the amount of $137,567.67.
