Angus Thompson. President, Brenda Jarrett also introduced the Paint Program Chairperson, Sam Harris. Mr. Harris gave a short talk about the paint program. Brenda Jarrett expressed concerns about clean-up in the Eastside Community. Jarrett introduced the newly formed committee persons. Esther Roberts - Chairperson of PRIDE organization and Co -Chair. Mildred Norford reported - People working together will help solve gang related problems. They also suggested: 1. Monthly Meetings 2. Work Shops 3. Solution Net -Working Eastside WATCH - Officer Berryman: Reported that we need to: 1. Organize groups 2. Select a neighborhood location 3. Look at possible grant availabilities Code Enforcement Chairperson gave report on: 700- Block Welch St. and 709 Bonner St.: Tires were taking off of vehicle and on Smith St. alleys need maintenance. City of Wichita Falls -Planning Dept. Chairperson mentioned that there are active projects being taken care on the Eastside. President Jarrett is still trying to get 100% participation from the community churches. On May 6, 1995 Eastside Revitalization Committee will have "Take Pride Rally". Encouraged all to come out!
