The meeting was called to order at 5:45 by Secretary Brenda Jarrett.
Minutes were read by Mr. Luedke.
A motion was made by Mr. Welburn and seconded by Mr. James Williams to approve
the minutes. Motion carried.
Mr. Seese gave an overview of the final Eastside Action Report. Discussion was made
on several areas covered in the report.
A motion was made by Mr. James Williams to approve the Eastside Action Report as
presented. Motion was seconded by Mr. Welburn. Motion carried.
The Committee concluded that the City has done all that it could do concerning the
findings of the Action Report. The importance of getting the word out about the
possibilities outlined in the Action Report was stressed.
The Committee agreed that at the next meeting, a plan of action must be implemented in
order to continue the positive steps forward that the group has made. To accomplish this
task, the group agreed to meet at noon, Thursday February 10, 1994 at MLK Center, to
set the agenda for the next regular meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
