Resolution authorizing The City Manager to execute all documents
necessary to purchase replacement network equipment from CDW
Government LLC in the amount of $381,145.77 from the technology
portion of the CARES Act
WHEREAS, the funds are available via the CARES Act to replace the aging
network infrastructure that cannot adequately support a remote work environment and
are no longer supported by warranty; and,
WHEREAS, the vendor of choice is a participant of the State DIR Vendors for the
purchase of network replacement equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase replacement network equipment from CDW Government LLC in
the amount of approximately $381,145.77 from the technology portion of
the CARES Act.
