The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called
session on the above date at 5 o'clock P. M, in the Council Room of the Memorial
Auditorium, with the following members presents

City Attorney
Moved by Alderman Brown that the recommendation of the City Manager
on 44 blocks of paving in the Miscellaneous Paving Program,
with limit of one skip per block, none exceeding 50 feet, be accepted; and
Mork orders issued for said paving as soon as a contract with Stuckey Construc-
tion Co., the successful bidder on this paving, is executed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Harvey and carried.
W. Be Hamilton representing the Hwailton Investment Co., appeared
before the Board of Aldermen, requesting permission to proceed with black -top
paving on Fain Street, between Milby and Taft, and one block on Taft St. to
Hampstead Lane. He also requested the Board of Aldermen to authorize the
payment, by the City of Wichita Falls, the difference in cost of concrete paving
and black -top paving on these streets, if the City requires concrete paving, due
to the excessive amount of run-off water which these streets will carry.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that action on the request of the Hamilton
Investment Co. be deferred for further study until the next regular meeting
May 14, 1951.
Motion seconded by Alderman Ray and carried9
Moved by Alderman Brown that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
