{ The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in called
session on the above date at 1:30 P. M. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium
Building, with the following members present:

REPORT OF THE ENGINEER AS TO FINAL COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS ON
PARK STREET, IN THE CITY OF WICH ITA FALLS, TEXAS
TO THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Gentle men :
I beg to report that Stuckey Construction Company, a partnership, of Wichita
Falls, Texas, to whom was awarded the contract for the improvement of certain streets
and avenues in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has completed the improvements on,
PARK STREET, from the north line of Lot 14, Block 5, Boyd Subdivision
of Granger Park Addition to the north property line of Flood Street,
known anddesignated as Unit or District No. 10.
The said improvements having been completed in strict accordance with the
terms of said contract and specifications of said wcrk adopted by the City, I hereby
recommend that the said improvements be finally accepted by the Board of Aldermen.

RESOLUTION NO. 124
RESO LUT ION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ONA PORTION OF PARK STREET AND
DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE
OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls heretofore entered into a contract with
Stuckey Construction Company, a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, for the making and
construction of certain improvements on the following portion of Park Street in said
City to wit:
PARK STREET, from the north line of Lot 14, Block 5, Boyd Subdivision
of Granger Park Addition to the north property line of Flood Street,
known and designated as Unit or District No. 10.
and,
WHEREAS, such improvements have been completed upon said portion of Park Street
and have been inspected and found to be complete in accordance with the contract therefor,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WI CH 1T A FALLS.,
TEXAS, THAT:
1. The improvements on said portion of Park Street be , and they are hereby,
accepted; and the contract with reference to the construction of such improvements, be,
and is hereby found and declared fully completed and performed.

2. The Mayor be, and he is hereby directed to issue and execute in the name of
the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments, levied against abutting
property and owners thereof for such improvements, and the City Clerk is directed to
execute same and impress thereon the corporate seal, all in accordance with the proceedings
relating to such improvements and assessments; such certificates shall be delivered to said
Company.
3. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
Moved by Alderman Thomas that Resolution No. 124 be approved and passed as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Brown and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Willis, Thomas, Harvey, Montgomery and gown.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Brown that the City Clerk be authorized to transfer $15,000.00

from the current Water Fund Cash to the Sewer System Fund account, provided t
deposited back in the Water Current Fund Cash by October 1, 1951.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried.
Moved by Alderman Harvey that the City Attorney, J. Walter Frib erg, be
authorized to negotiate a compromise settlement in the amount of $1,200.00 with Seberiano
Perez for alleged injuries received May 19, 1950, while employed by the City of Wichita
Falls Water Department.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried
The Minutes of the meeting held March 26, 1951, March 29, 1951, and April 9, 1951
were read and approved as read. ,
Moved by Alderman Thomas that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman mown and carried.
