The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular called session at 1:00 o'clock P. M., on the above date
with the following members present:
R. E. Shepherd, Mayor,
Oral Jones, )
P. B. Curd, ) Aldermen,
J. W. Hunt, )
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk.
Bids for furnishing stage scenery for the new auditorium
were opened and considered.
After announcement of bids, the Council inspected samples
of the Kansas City Scenic Company, Volland Scenic Studios and Sosman
& Landes.

The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met
in regular called session at 10:00 A. M., on the above date with the
following members present:
R. E. Shepherd, Mayor,
Oral Jones, )

J. H. Patton )
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk.
Bids on revised specifications for furnishing stage scenery
for the new auditorium were opened and tabulated. Another inspection
of samples and set ups of the bidders was made.
Moved by Alderman Curd that the bill of the Security National
Bank in the amount of p,207.84 covering interest on warrants carried
by the bank during the months of December 1926, January and February
1927, be approved and allowed out of the following funds:
Street Fund --------- §521.88
Sewer it --------- 817.36
Park "--------- 321.33
Library "--------- 71.79
Water "---------1475.48
Total 3207.48
Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned until 1:30 o'clock

The Board of Aldermen met at 1:30 o'clock P. II., with the fol-
lowing members present:

After careful consideration of the bids of the Kansas City
Scenic Company, Volland Scenic Studios and Sosman & Landes, for furnishing
stage scenery for the new auditorium, the following motion was put in
order.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that the contract for furnishing stage
scenery for the new auditorium be awarded to Volland Scenic Studios upon
their bid of approximately §22,500.00, and the Mayor be authorized to
enter into contract for this equipment.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
