The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Moved by Alderman Hunt that.the following resolution be
adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried by the fol-
lowing vote:

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Walter M. Priddy on the 20th day of January, A. D.
1926, subdivided and platted certain lands out of the Thomas H. Garner
Survey, located in Wichita County, Texas, said subdivision being known
as the Stehlik & Baber Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and in platting said Addition provided for certain streets and alleys
as shown b; the plat thereof; and,
WHEREAS, J. C. Mytinger and M. D. Walker are now the owners
of Lots Number Eight (8) Nine (9), Ten (10), Nineteen (19), and Twenty
(20), in Block "B", of said Stehlik & Saber Addition, and desire to
subdivide said lots into Eight (8) lots fronting on Bridwell Street,
as shown by the plat attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the said J. C. Mytinger and M. D. Walker desire
to extend the alley intersecting said Block "B" to the East Line of
Bridwell Street, as shown on the attached map or plat, and desire that
the Two (2) narrotiv alleys now connecting Bridwell Street with the main
alley intersecting said Block "B" be abandoned and conveyed to the
said J. C. Mytinger and M. D. Walker by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas;
and,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
It is to the best interest of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, to convey to the said J. C. Mytinger and M. D. Walker, all of
its right,title, and interest in and to the two (2) alleys connecting
the main alley intersecting said Block "B" and Bridwell Street, be-
ginning at a point in the East Line of Lot Number Nine (9), in said
Block "B", of the Stehlik & Baber Addition extended and ending at the
East Line of said Bridwell Street. In consideration of the said J. C.
Mytinger and M. D. Walker dedicating to the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, an alley intersecting Lot Number Ten (10), in said Block "B"
connectin- Bridwell Street with the main alley intersecting said Block
"B", as shown by the attached map or plat.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 28th day of March, 1927.
Moved by Alderman Queisser that the Mayor be authorized to
write a letter to the Commander of the Local Post of the American Legion
and the Spanish American War Veterans stating therein that the City
will provide office space in the new auditorium for these two organiza-
tions.

The hearing with reference to closing the dead end of Front
Street, North of Block 92, Original Townsite, was called and after hear-
ing no protests the following motion was put in order.
Moved by Alderman Curd that the hearing be closed.

Moved by Alderman Curd that the City Clerk be authorized to
advertise for bids for the sale of the dead end of Front Street, North
of Block 92, Original Townsite. Said bids to be received until 7:30
o'clock P. M., April llth, 1927.

Moved by Alderman Jones that the amended plat covering Blocks
54, 55, 58, 59, 68, 69, 72 and 73, Southland Addition filed by R. E. Huff
be approved.

Moved by Alderman Hunt that the electrical inspector be in-
structed to issue a temporary clearance on lighting of bill boards on the
Fritz motor Company building on the corner of Eleventh & Scott Streets.

City and Montgomery & Ward of Wichita Falls, Consulting Engineers.
