The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular called session at 10 o'clock A. M. on the above date with the
following members present:

Moved by Alderman Jones that the following resolution be
adopted.
Motion seconded by Alderman Queisser and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Jones, Curd, Patton, Queisser.
Nays: None.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board
of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls that in passing resolution
calling an election to be held on the 5th day of April, 1927, an
adequate number of voting boxes were not arranged;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS THAT THE RESOLUTION CALLING AN ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON THE 5TH DAY OF APRIL A. D. 1927, PASSED ON THE 28TH DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1927, BE AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An election is hereby called to be held on the 5th day of
April A. D. 1927, for the purpose of electing three (3) aldermen for
the City of Wichita Fails, Texas.
The places for which sAid aldermen shall be elected are
hereby designated as places numbers 1, 2 and Z. Said aldermen shall
serve the City of Wichita Falls for the -ensuing two years, and said
election shall be held in accordance with the laws of the State of
Texas, Ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, made and
provided in such cases.
The places for the holding of said election shall be in
the City Hall, Wichita County Court House, Jefferson Street Fire
Station, Buchanan Street Fire Station and M. J. Basharals Garage at
the Corner of Tenth and Van Buren Streets, in said City, county and
state, and the following named persons are hereby appointed and named
to hold said election, towit:

All voters living East of Lamar. Street, South of Wichita River,
East of Mill Street and South and East of the City Aequeduct shall vote at
the City Hall Box.
All voters living South of the Wichita River, West of Lamar
Street between Lamar and Brook Avenue, West of Mill Street and North of
the City Aequeduct shall vote at the Wichita County Court House Box.
All voters living South of the Wichita River, West of the Center
of Fillmore Street to the City Limits on the South and West shall vote at
the Buchanan Street Fire Station Box.
All voters living West of Brook Avenue, East of Fillmore Street
and South of the Wichita River to the City Limits on the South between
Brook Avenue and Fillmore Street shall vote at M. J. Bashara's Garage,
near the corner of Tenth and Van Buren Streets.
All voters living North of the Wichita River shall vote at the
Jefferson Street Fire Station Box.
_ Thirty days notice of the time and place of holding said elec-
tion shall be given by posting copies of the election notice at five public
places towit: One at the Wichita County Court House, one at the City Hall,
one at the Jefferson Street Dire Station, one at the Buchanan Street Aire
Station and one at M. J. Bashara's Garage near the Corner of Tenth Van
Buren Streets in said City and by publishing a copy of this notice in the
Wichita Daily Times, a newspaper of general circulation published for at
least one year prior to the date of this notice in said city &nI being the
official organ of said City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5� th day of March, A. D. 1927.
Moved by Alderman Queisser that the Water Department be authori-
zed to employ Black & Veatch and Montgomery & Ward, engineers, to draft
plans and specifications and supervise the construction of a 500,000 gallon
storage tower on the west side of the city.
Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
