The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular called session at 2:30 o'clock P. M. on the above date with
the following members present:
R. E. Shepherd, Mayor,
Oral Jones, )
P. B. Curd, )
J. W. Hunt, ) Aldermen,
J. H. Patton, )

W. E. McBroom, City Clerk.
Completed plans and specifications for the erection of an
Auditorium and Municipal Office Building on Block 238, Original Town -
site, were presented by Voelcker & Dixon and Lang & Witchell, Archi-
tects. After careful examination the following motion was put in
order.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the plans and specifications
for the erection of a Municipal Office Building and Auditorium pre-
sented by Voelcker & Dixon and Lang & Witchell, Architects, be approved.
Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the City Clerk be instruc ' ling
to place the following advertisement in the Wichita Daily Times/xo
sealed bids for the erection of a Municipal Office Building and
Auditorium.
"NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS"
"Sealed bids will be received at the office of City Clerk
Wichita Falls, Texas, until 10:00 A. M. Tuesday January
lfth, 1927,for the erection and completion ofrauditorium
and City Hall building to be erected on Block 238, Original
Townsite, in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Separate bids will be taken on General Contract, Plumbing,
Heating and Wiring.
Plans may be secured upon application at the offices of
Lang & Witchell, Architects, American Exchange Bank
Building, Dallas, Texas, or Voelcker & Dixon, Architects,
Kahn Building, Wichita Falls, Texas. A deposit of �100.00
will be required to assure the return of plans.
Owners reserve the right to accept or reject any and all
bids"
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
A study of the report on the Water Survey made by Black &
Veatch, Engineers, of Kansas City, was then taken up�after which
adjournment was taken.
