Wichita Falls, Texas. Basement City National Bank Bldg., December 13, 1926. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular session on the above date with the following members present: R. E. Shepherd, Mayor, Oral Jones, ) P. B. Curd, ) J. W. Hunt, ) Aldermen J. H. Patton, ) Frank Queisser,) W. E. George, City Attorney, W. E. McBroom, City Clerk. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The hearing to property owners with reference to paving Harrison Street from Clarence Street to Avenue "F" was called and after hearing no protests, the following motion was put in order. Form 8, RESOLUTION Harrison St., Clarence to Ave., "F" RESOLUTION CLOSING HEARING TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN IMPROVEMENT OF HARRISON STREET FROM THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF CLARENCE TO THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF AVENUE F, AND DETERMINING AMOUNTS OF ASSESSMENTS AGAINST ABUTTING LOTS, AND PARCELS OF PROPERTY AND THE OWNERS THEREOF. Bunnenberg, Park Superintendent, on trip to Fort Worth to buy nursery stock, in the amount of $12.75 be approved and allowed. Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried. � i9 Moved by Alderman Jones that the bill of the Security National Bank in the amount of �65.39 covering shipping charges of $750,000 worth of bonds to New York be approved and allowed. Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried. Moved by Alderman Jones that the expense account of W. E. George, City Attorney, in the amount of $15.00 on trip to Fort Worth in connection with law suit Landers vs. City be approved and allowed. Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried. Moved by Alderman Jones that the deed of S. W. Trout con- veying to the City a strip of land in the Maxwell Addition for street purposes be received ana approved and the City Clerk be instructed to file same for record. Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried. Moved by Alderman Queisser that the salary of S. A. Gardner, a member of the Police Department, be raised 410.00 per month, effective January let, 1921. Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried. Moved by Alderman Patton that the Park Department be auth- orized to b a lowering device for use in Riverside Cemetery at a cost of �19 00. Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried. Moved by Alderman Curd that Commissioner Patton be authorized to employ A. R. Sheffield at a salary of 4175.00 per month to operate the new Sewerage Disposal Plant. Motion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried. Moved by Alderman Patton that the Street Department be auth- orized to purchase a second hand car from E. J. Mcl"+illiams at a cost of §200.00. Motion seconded by Alderman Curd and carried.
