City and Janes Contracting Company for the construction of sanitary
sewer lines to cost the sum of approximately 456,863.29 be approved.

Moved by Alderman Hunt that the Sixth Estimate on the cost
of the Sewerage Disposal Plant payable to Callahan, Whitham & McFarland
in the amount of 434,654.50, and the engineering fee payable to Mont-
gomery & Ward in the amount of �866.36 be approved and allowed.

DELIVERY OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE. CITY OF
_ICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified that the paving
and otherwise improving of Sixth Street, from the West Property Line
of Scott Street to the East Property Line of Lamar Street, has been
completed by L. E. Whitham & Company, in accordance with the plans
and specifications therefor and the said City Engineer recommends
the acceptance of the said work by the City.
NOW, THEREFO E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
THAT said paving and other improvements be and the same are
hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and the Mayor
be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute Special Assessment
Certificates evidencing the indebtedness of the owners of the property
abutting on said portion of streetm in the name of the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest
same and to impress thereon the Seal of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, thereon and to deliver said Special Assessment Certificates
to L. E. Whitham & Company, as set forth in the contract, for the
above named improvements, all in accordance with the ordinances and
resolutions heretofore adopted and passed by the City of Wichita Falls,

to buy a new Chevrolet car at a cost of 4624.24 anc trade in as a part
payment a worn out Ford at a value of 4100.00.

employ an additional clerk in his department for temporary work.
