The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
met in regular called session at 10:00 a.m. on the above date
with the following members present:
R.E. Shepherd, Mayor
Oral Jones, )
J.W. Hurt, )
J.H. Patton, ) Aldermen
Frank Queisser,)
W.E. McBroom, City Clerk,
W.E. George, City Attorney.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the City Clerk be
authorized to draw warrants on the Water Fund payable to
A.F. Kerr, District Clerk, in full payment of lawsuit in
the 78th District, court No. 17522, styled Martin-Groezinger
et al vs City of Wichita Falls as follows:
To be paid to W.J. Townsend, attorney for plain-
tiff, •a1,333.33
To be paid to the guardian of 2,666.67
Marie Pauline Groezinger, a
minor
Total . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $4,000.00
Motion seconded by Alderman Queisser and carried.
Moved by Alderman Aunt that the City Clerk be authorized
to draw a warrant payable to A.J. McMahan in the amount of
�-200.00 to cover interest on Street Improvement Bonds in the
amount of 632,000.00 at 5% from September 15, 1925, the date
called for refunding, to November 1, 1925, the date the refund-
ing bonds were actually issued.
Lotion seconded by Alderman Jones and carried.
Moved by Alderman Jones that the City Clerk be
authorized to draw a warrant payable to Street Improvement
No. 1 Sinking Fund for ,' OO.00 to cover purchase by this
Sinking Fund of two (2) Street Paving Bonds owned by Hospital
No. 1 Sinking Fund.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
