regular called session at 4:00 o'clock p.m. on the above date with
the following members present:

the City of .lichita malls were opened and considered. The following
proposals were received and announced as follows:

bids for the construction of a sewage treatment works were
taken up and given farther consideration. After careful consideration
of the experience, skill, and financial standing of the Standarr
Paving uompany, a corporation, and Callahan, 4hitham & McFarla , a
partnership, the following motion was put in order:
Moved by alderman Patton that the contract for the construc-
tion of a sewage treatment works in accordance with plans and specifi-
cations heretofore approved and adopted, be awarded to uallahan,
aVhitham and ncr'arland upon their proposal of a total cost of %,267,800.00
Motion seconded by adermen �ueisser and carried by the
following vote:
Yeas: aldermen Jones, Uurd, 'ueisser, ulifford, Patton.
