RESOLUTION NO. _42-2012
Resolution Approving Change Order No. 1 For The 2011 Lake
Wichita Park Improvements Project (CWF11-734-12) To Bowles
Construction Co.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price contract with
Bowles Construction Co. for the 2011 Lake Wichita Park Improvements Project
(CWF11-734-12) with the estimated total cost of $88,368.40; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will decrease the contract $33,892.00 for a
revised cost of $54,476.40; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feel
that it is in the City’s best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Change Order No. 1 for the 2011 Lake Wichita Park Improvements Project
(CWF11-734-12) is approved, in the amount of a deduct of $33,892.00 and the City
Manager is authorized to execute the change order.
