The Board of Aldermen of the City of %4ichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present:

Moved by Alderman Hunt that Biggs & Company be granted a permit
to construct an 6 ft. concrete loading dock over* the sidewalk at 14th and.
Lamar Streets, provided all work is done under the supervision of the
City Engineer and that said Biggs & Company, their successors and assigns,
shall hold the City of 'J'ichita Falls harmless from any damages that may
arise from the construction and use of said loading dock on said sidewalk.

execute notes evidencing indeatedness of the City to the B. Fe Good-
rich Rubber Company for Fire Hose furnished the Fire Department in
the amount of $575.00, payable as follows:
1 Note for $287*50 due April lst, 1928, without interest.
I Note for P87.50 due April lst, 1929, with interest at

uditorium which is a credit to our community, and.,
,11EREAS, Uur esteemed City .council h,-,.ve set aside splendid
quarters and meeting hall for the veterans of all wars to be used b,'
them and their kindred military organizations, auxiliaries, etc.,rent
free, and,
various labor unions and ot..Lers are making request
that they also be allowed to use the room set aside for veterans, and
WHIREAS, the matter was fully discussed by the membership of
David C. McCaleb Camp #13, Department"of Texas., United Spanish '.,*ar
Veterans at the regular meeting ilovember 0./th, 1927, and it irjas. the
consensus of opinion that permitting the use of the quarters promis-
cuously would result in confusion, misunderstanding and perhaps damage
to the furniture and property of the veteran organizations*.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the quarters set aside
for the veterans be used by veteran organizations, and their auxiliaries
only and exclusively, and
BE IT � 'I.TIRThTER RESOLVED, that a copy of these resolutions be

engrossed upon the minutes of David C* cCaleb Camp13; that a copy be
sent to the .-merican Legion and a copy to the City Council.
