Tile Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in
regular session on the above date with the following members present

11oved by Alderman Jones that the estimate of the Hamilton
Company in the amount of 7,-3, 800.00 covering plumbing work on the new
auditorium be approved and allowed*

.coved by Alderman Carter that the Police Department be author-
ized to reserve 25 feet on the following Streets to be designated as
Safety Zones for loading and unloading passengers carried by motor
vehicles: Eighth Street, north of the City National Bank Building
and Nest of Scott Street; Scott Street, South of Eighth next to the
Rexall Drug Store; Indiana ;venue, North of iVinth and in front of the

be alloyed the sum of c,;�p20.00 to cover cost of paving where headers were
removed on ,: inth and Polk Streets. '

Moved by Alderman .-ing that the City Clerk be authorized to
pay the sum of 4719.86 out of the General ,and ._,mergency Appropriat ion
to cover the cost of 6470 feet of pipe with necessary fittings to be
installed in the center par -a, ay on Grace, Holliday, Broad, Ninth and
Bridwell Streets and LVIes O'Reilly Park.

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 959 PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE
BOARD OF ALDERMEN ON NOVEI=R 7TH9 1927, ENTITLED "All ORDINANCE PRO-
VIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF AN ELECTION IN THE CITY OF yr ICH ITA FALLS, TEXAS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY A PROP
OSITION TO ENCUMBER THE HATER WORHS SYSTEM, THE FRANCHISE, AND INCOME
THEREOF, TO SECURE THE PAYIVENT OF WATER WORKS BONDS OF SAID CITY IN THE
AMOUNT OF '��11800, 000.00 FOR THE PURPOSE OF REFUND THE EXISTING INDEBTED-

postponed not exceeding sixty (60) days.

Bids for furnishing desks, chairs and tables to equip offices
in the new auditorium s ere opened and action postponed until tiie bidders
material could be inspected.
