The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Company be permitted to place a gasoline pump and underground storage
tank on their property on the corner of Burnett and Chester Streets. 0

STREET AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT.
Bids for furnishing the Fire Department with a 600 gallon
triple combination fire truck were opened and considered. After exam-
ination of the bids of the Southern Fire Apparatus Company, American -
La France Company and Seagrave Company the following motion was put in
order.
Moved by Alderman Carter that the Mayor be authorized to enter
into contract for purchase of one 600 gallon triple combination pump,
hose axed, chemical wagon from the Seagrave Corporation at a cost of
$8, 350.00, payable . 2, 783.33 in one year and � 2, 783.33 in two years and
2, 783.34 in three years from date of delivery and acceptance of the
apparatus. Said indebtedness to be evidenced by notes and to bear
interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
